What is Ailyx?
Product analytics that writes its own instrumentation — and keeps it in step with your code.
Overview
Getting product analytics working usually takes three jobs: someone to decide which events matter, an engineer to write and maintain the tracking code, and an analyst to turn the resulting data into reports. Ailyx automates all three.
Connect a repository and Ailyx reads it — identifying the features it contains, proposing the events worth tracking, and opening a normal pull request that adds the tracking calls. You review and merge it like any other change. Once events start flowing, Ailyx generates the reports: funnels, retention curves, adoption and reliability.
How It Works
- Connect your repository — Install the GitHub app. Nothing runs against your users until you merge something.
- Ailyx reads the code — It identifies the features that exist, which of them are reachable from the frontend or backend, and what is already instrumented.
- It proposes a taxonomy — Named events with typed properties, mapped to the exact call sites that should fire them. You keep, refine, or discard each one.
- It ships the tracking as a pull request — Calls are placed at the right line, checked for scope errors, and validated against your build before the PR opens.
- Reports generate themselves — As events arrive, Ailyx proposes the charts worth watching, and you can ask for others in plain English.
It Keeps Up With Your Code
Instrumentation usually rots: a call site moves, a component is deleted, and the dashboard quietly goes wrong. Ailyx watches the repository — merged pull requests reconcile automatically, tracking calls that were removed are retired, and events whose call sites moved are re-anchored. The taxonomy stays in step with the code instead of drifting away from it.
Your Database Too
Product events answer what people did. Your database answers what is true right now. Alongside the event pipeline you can connect a PostgreSQL or MySQL database and ask questions in plain English — Ailyx finds the right tables, writes the SQL, runs it, and returns charts and dashboards.
- PostgreSQL — Direct connection
- MySQL — With SSH tunnel and SSL/TLS support
- MCP Server — Connect Claude and other AI assistants so they can query your data and your product events directly
What Makes Ailyx Different
Analytics tools give you an SDK and a dashboard, then leave the hard parts to you: deciding what to track, writing the calls, and keeping them correct as the product changes. Ailyx does that work and hands you a pull request to review.
- No instrumentation backlog — Tracking arrives as reviewable code, not a ticket for next quarter
- No product manager required — The event taxonomy is proposed from the codebase itself
- Verified before it ships — Generated calls are scope-checked and build-validated, so a merge cannot break your app
- Self-maintaining — Merges, moves and deletions reconcile automatically
- Reports without an analyst — Funnels, retention and reliability views are proposed for you
- Your data too — Product events and your own database, in one place
Security
Ailyx takes data security seriously. Database credentials are encrypted with AES-256 at rest. All data is isolated using row-level security in a multi-tenant architecture. SQL queries are validated to prevent injection attacks. Tracking code is delivered as a pull request you review — nothing reaches your users until you merge it. We do not sell your data.
